Get Ready To Have Some Fun!!

"Would you like an adventure now,
or shall we have our tea first?" - Peter Pan

Girls, I am absolutely excited ... why you ask??  Well, lately I've had an idea brewing in my mind ... finally it's ready to be shared!!!!
.... drum roll please ....

I am hosting the first annual Teacup/Mug Swap!

The idea of this swap formed one day while I was thinking back on the apron swap I participated in 7 years ago.  I started thinking that had I not participated, I would have never met my bestie.
Then it dawned on me ...
wouldn't it be so neat to bring young ladies together through a swap I hosted????
The first thing was an apron swap - but every young lady has a handful of aprons ;)
The second thing was a book swap - but that didn't sound catchy or fun :P
Then ... the third thing was a teacup/mug swap - I knew right then that was it (ya know the saying "third time's the charm").  I figured that everyone can have fun with this, since everyone has different tastes and styles.

Now, lets go over a few details and hopefully (Lord-willing) I will answer all of your questions concerning this swap!

Please read this entire post for all the details!

It's very easy to participate in a swap and I can speak from previous experience that you will have a wonderful time and you will indeed be blessed!!

This swap is open to everyone from around the world.
I look at it this way ...  the more the merrier ... and who doesn't love making friends from another country?

You DO NOT need to have a blog in order to participate; this exchange is open to everyone.

Now let's go over a few rules . . .

{ Rule #1 }
You will need to purchase a tea cup or mug ... or you can send one from your own collection; it's completely up to you - it's the thought that counts! :)  If you decide to send one from your own collection please make sure it's in excellent condition with no stains or chips.  Tea cups or mugs from antique or thrifts stores are also fine, but again, please make sure they are in excellent condition.

{ Rule #2 }
Please add at least one extra item to your tea cup or mug package.
It can be tea, handmade treasures, doilies, chocolate, a letter, etc.

Rule #3 }
Have fun!
You will send a teacup or a mug to a special someone and you will receive a teacup or mug from a special someone else so you in the end, you will have made a new friend :)

 Rule #4 }
Fill in this sign-up form (you need to fill this out in order to participate) and then email it to me
All you have to do is click on the link below and fill out the form:

Sign up for the teacup swap will start today, September 24th and will go until October 11th ... so we have 17 days to sign up and spread the word (you can copy and paste the image and put it on your social media links).
I will email each one of you on Monday the 12th or Tuesday the 13th with the information you need to send your special someone her tea cup or mug
We have until Friday, October 30th {17 days} to get a tea cup or mug package together and shipped out.

My advise for those of you who choose to ship overseas is to send your packages out immediately after receiving the information of the person you are sending to, because shipping takes at least 2 - 4 weeks longer.

And finally. . .
I will have a link party on my blog around the middle or end of December so that we can share our beautiful treasures with everyone.  The reason for having the link up later is because we want to make sure everyone has their tea cup in hand :)  So email me pictures of your treasures and a link to your blog and I will include them in the link party post :)
If you do not have a blog you can still send me pictures of your new tea cup!!!

Does everything make sense, m'dears?
You can email with any questions that you might have:
pureprincess95 AT gmail DOT com

For those of you that sign up I will be in touch periodically via email with updates and reminders :)

One more thing, I will also be giving your email address to the lady that is sending to you so that if there are any issues with shipping you and the sender can work things out.  If you do not wish for me to give your email address out than please let me know.
